In June 2023, the International Centre for Applied Mathematical Modelling and Data Analytics (ICAMMDA) hosted a one-week intensive training on Spatial Data Analysis and Bayesian Modelling. The session was facilitated by Dr. Adigun Abass Bolaji, an expert in applied statistics and geospatial analytics.
Participants gained hands-on experience in working with spatial datasets, applying Bayesian inference, and using statistical tools for public health research. The training also emphasized real-world application of models in health and disease mapping across African regions.
This program reflects ICAMMDA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening analytical capacity and building a robust network of researchers equipped with practical, policy-relevant skills.
