From May 31 to June 4, 2023, the ICAMMDA team proudly participated in the inaugural West Africa Mathematical Modelling Capacity Development (WAMCAD) Symposium held at Alisa Hotel, Accra, Ghana.
This high-impact event brought together WAMCAD’s regional partners alongside global collaborators including Malaria Consortium, Swiss TPH, PATH, and representatives from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. It served as a powerful platform for ICAMMDA fellows to present their innovative research proposals to a diverse audience of stakeholders, decision-makers, and global experts.
The symposium was a milestone in advancing regional capacity in mathematical modelling, fostering rich collaboration, sharing knowledge, and nurturing innovative ideas that address Africa’s pressing health challenges. ICAMMDA remains committed to driving excellence through science, partnerships, and data-driven impact.
